Abstract: The scientific thinking for medium-and short-term earthquake prediction research is described in detail. It is that the static geological or crustal structure is given dynamic property and the precursorary anomaly is given tectonic implication. Under guidance of this thinking,the ways and methods of medium-and short-term earthquake prediction are briefly discussed. Three problems are pointed out which should be given attention in the studies of medium-and short-term earthquake predicition.

摘要: 详细论述了地震中短期预报工作的科学思路,即“给‘静态’的地质(壳)结构赋予动态属性,给前兆性异常赋予构造的涵义”;在这个思路的指导下,简要探讨了地震中短期预报的探索途径,提出了在地震中短期预报研究中应该注意的问题。
