摘要/Abstract

摘要： 笔者通过对南黄海的地震活动特征分析研究,认为该区的地震活动水平远高于扬州-铜陵地震带,应作为一独立的地震区(带)存在,以利于对该海域的地震研究和监测;并对其地震活动有关的若干问题提出讨论。

Abstract: The authors have come to some conclusions about distributions of epicenters(M≥5).strain release and modern characterized crustal activity on the basis of comparing seismi-cities between the Southern-Yellow Sea area and the Yangzhou-Tongling seismic belt.The seismicity level of the Southern-Yellow Sea area is much higher than that of the Yangzhou-Tongling seismic belt,suggesting a new seismic belt along the study area.The study area can be regarded as an independent seismic belt.Some main characteristics of the seismicity in the Southern-Yellow Sea area has been studied as well.
